Jake White

Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic

Some say he exited the womb with a wrench in hand, some say he has more years wrenching than he’s been alive, but to us, he is a Mach 5 Aviation Maintainer!

Jake is originally a Michigan native who traveled across the United States during his 9 years in the United States Coast Guard. During his early years in the Coast Guard, he provided water search and rescue services to the Mississippi Gulf area. While working various rescue missions with aviation support he decided aviation was his future. He began his career in aviation in 2016 and hasn’t looked back. While in the Coast Guard, he worked on the MH-65D Dolphin Helicopter as well as the C-27J Spartan Fixed Wing aircraft.  Maintaining the MH-65D, he was a part of the heavy maintenance team as well as the logistics department. As part of the logistics team, he was deployed shipboard or to various Central American countries to fix the broken helicopter.  Maintaining the C-27J in Sacramento entailed many hours as an in-flight mechanic performing search and rescue missions as well as border patrol operations.

After 9 years of service, Jake decided it was time for him to move onto his next path, which was Mach 5 Aviation. Jake has found a new love for aviation as he now works on the numerous flight school airplanes and outside maintenance planes. Working multiple different aviation platforms keeps his brain sharp and sense of purpose fulfilled.
